The City of Sand Springs is currently accepting nominations for this year’s Hometown Hero to be recognized at the 25th Annual Herbal Affair & Festival on Saturday, April 26, 2014.
If you would like to nominate someone for Hometown Hero, please email your answers to the following questions to mkcarlson@sandspringsok.org no later than Friday, March 1, 2014.
• How long have you known the person you are nominating?
• What is your relationship to the nominee?
• In your own words, why does your nominee deserve recognition as Hometown Hero?
• Have your nominee's efforts made a difference for the Sand Springs Community? If so, how?
• Is there anything else that makes your nominee exceptional or unique?
The Nomination Committee will review all nominations and will contact you if your nominee is chosen. All nominations will be kept confidential and only the Hometown Hero chosen will be announced at Herbal Affair.
