The City of Sand Springs is currently seeking volunteers to help with the 6th Annual Great Sand Springs Downhill Soapbox Derby Race on Saturday, October 5, 2013.
All types of volunteers are needed from help with the race team, children’s area, setup, clean up and everything in between. Students needing community service hours, church youth groups, Boy Scout Troops and sports teams make great volunteers as well as individuals who want to help out in their community. We need a lot of help to make this type of event a success so please consider volunteering your time if you are able.
We also still have plenty of spots open in our Competitive and Novelty Race Categories and, if you have a business you would like to promote at the event, there are still vendor booths available as well.
