About the Board
The Sand Springs and Sapulpa Municipal Authorities jointly own and operate the Skiatook Raw Water Conveyance System (SRWCS) from Lake Skiatook to Sand Springs (River City Parks).
Operation and maintenance of the SRWCS is accomplished through direction established in the Interlocal Cooperation Agreement and recommendations of a Sand Springs - Sapulpa Joint Board made up of Municipal Authority Trustees and authorized staff designees. Public Works Staff make recommendations to the Joint Board for their recommendation of approval action as required by the respective Municipal Authorities. Operations and maintenance functions are carried out through Public Works Staff and Tetra Tech.
